Script Changes
I'm not one to compromise usually. Sometimes I do on set when I go with my instinct. Right now, I'm not sure what to do or how to lessen the graphic intensity of my film and reach a premeditated level of emotional impact. There are so many underrated films out there that became famous because most people hated them. Controversy is a good thing. It's just a movie, but what you do with it to advertise, very clever. I know after "Point of Envy" is made that it will shock and confuse the average audience. Then it hit me-- 98% of all the films you see are predictable, or just following a recycled formula. It's inevitable. However, what you do with it and how you tell your vision is the creative part. I'm not making a spiritual drama here. I'm not trying to preach a positive message. I'm digging into flawed people's feelings, their sins, what makes them tick, how they are who they are. A character study on human behavior in a suspenseful way. My goal is that everyone will psychologically relate to my short film whether they hate it or love it. But they must understand it and reflect on themselves.
